John "Rhino" Edwards   - Born 9th May 1953

John "Rhino" Edwards joined Status Quo together with Jeff Rich in 1986 after Rossi and Parfitt won the court case to keep the name Status Quo . An accomplished session musician who had previously played in bands such as Space , Judie Tzukes' backing band as well as Dexies Midnight Runners and the Climax Bles Band . He was working with Rick Parfitt on Ricks unreleased solo album and when Rossi wanted Status Quo to rehearse again he was recommended by Rick .

Rhino is an accomplished singer and songwriter in his own right and has penned a few compositions on Quo albums . He also performs in part-time band with Jeff Rich called Four Bills and a Ben primarily to raise money for charity .
